Studio Miammmiam is the project of French illustrator and artist Julie Chovin, who lives and works in Berlin.

Since 2010, she has been working with handmade screen printing – starting from ink, brush, and pen drawings all the way to the final print. Julie creates colorful scenes that blend lightness and strength, infused with humor but also layered with symbolic themes: global warming, social divisions, multiculturalism, and the intrusion of wilderness into the city. The lines of her drawings fluctuate between sensuality and morbid fascination. In Female Volume III, her prints will also depict a bittersweet fantasy world inhabited by cute creatures and mysterious beasts.
