Kids Club #4 - Magical Scratch Art
In the current Kids Club we show you a magic trick to create your own scratching art!
What kind of material you need:
- Thicker white paper DIN A4 – no cardboard
- wax crayons
- Chinese Ink (black)
- Baby power or starch flour
- Brush
- Wooden sticks or skewers
- possibly disposable gloves
- Washable base or old newspaper
Guide
- Paint a white paper with wax pencils colorful (e.g. rainbow)
- Put baby powder or starch on it and rub the image completely. Then knock the remnants off the picture
- Paint the picture completely with Chinese ink (Note: use disposable gloves and put a washable base or old newspapers underneath)
- Let the whole thing dry for about 30 minutes
- With a wooden stick or wood-skewers you can scratch your own motifs into the paper.
- The magic scratching art is finished
