Katja Spitzer

Katja Spitzer was born in Zerbst in 1979. She studied art history and history in Halle as well as illustration in Leipzig and Lucerne. Today she works as an illustrator in the Atelier petit 4 in Prenzlauer Berg on picture books, book covers and magazine illustrations. She also writes and illustrates her own books. Together with Jutta Bauer, she published the book Das Beste von Allem in Aladin Verlag in 2016. Katja Spitzer teaches at the Academy of Illustration and Design in Berlin (AID) and gives workshops for children and adults all over the world.
