Anna CheeseAnna Käse

Artist

Anna Käse originally comes from the small town of Werl in North Rhine-Westphalia. Already as a child she discovered that reality is a rather absurd and complicated place. So she started to stay more and more in her fantasy world.
In 2008 she graduated from the Freie Akademie der bildenden Künste in Essen. During her studies she specialized in the traditional intaglio technique of etching. In 2005 she was awarded a scholarship by the academy for her outstanding artistic achievements.
In 2013, she opened her first printing workshop and gallery in Berlin’s Neukölln district. There she organized numerous exhibitions and introduced other artists and interested parties to the technique of etching. In 2017, she moved back to her hometown of Werl in North Rhine-Westphalia.
Anna regularly runs a print workshop at Urban Art Kids. We are very happy that she is part of the team. We are very happy that she is part of the team.
